We started this endeavor back in 1999. Volume 9 was for the year 2007.   We averaged 16 pages per issue this year.  This year  we only had 2 issues.  This publication was definitely taxing at times.  The slowly rising cost of printing and the fact that the postal service changed their way of doing bulk mailing, it became ever-increasingly harder to financially do this magazine.  We thought by this time more fire companies would subscribe, but they never did.  They seemed to be content with just receiving their free issue every few quarters.  Working, raising a family, running calls and doing the magazine was a handful.  But it was a labor of love, and fit right into my hobby.  Still a lot of great content.
