VOLUME  12 –  ISSUE  1

The first and last issue of Volume 12 was published in the first half of 2012. It was 16 pages, but full color.  Unfortunately this would be our last issue.  Two factors drove us to not being able to continue, one the damn USPS changed the bulk mailing so we did not qualify, second our printer passed away from an unfortunate accident.  After contacting multiple printers across the county, we came to the conclusion that we were getting a deal all these years.  Nobody could even get close to the prices we were paying, most 3-4 times the cost of what we were paying.  On the front cover are two photos, the first is an engine from the United of Lewistown’s engine.  Engine  11-1 is a 1994 Seagrave that originally saw service with the Independent Hose Company of Hagerstown, MD.  The rig has a 1500 gpm pump, 710 gallon water tank and 40 gallon foam tank.  The second unit is from Lower Alsace Township (Berks County). Engine 4-1 is a 2009 KME predator with a 1500 gpm pump and 750 gallon tank.
