VOLUME 1 – ISSUE 2
The second Issue was put out in the second quarter of 1999 and was 28 pages. The front cover featured an engine from Carpenter Technology in Reading (Berks County). This 1978 Mack MB engine was purchased from the Chillum-Adelphi Fire Department in Maryland in 1992. Domestic Fire Apparatus refurbished the engine to fit the industrial department’s needs. The unit has a 1000 gpm pump, 500 gallon water tank and 500 gallon foam tank. It had the black top added in 1998. This rig finally ended up at the Berks County Fire Training Academy.
