       The first issue was published in the early Winter of 2001 and was 28 pages.  The front cover featured a brush truck  from the Lower Heidelberg Township Fire Company (Berks County). This is a 2000 Ford F550/Custom Fiberglass 250 gpm, 250 gallon water brush truck.  Since then, Lower Heidelberg merged to form Western Berks in 2003.  Western Berks eventually sold this unit to nearby Robesonia in 2011 after consolidating apparatus
