       The first issue was published in the early Winter of 2001 and was 28 pages.  The front cover featured a brush truck  from the Lower Heidelberg Township Fire Company (Berks County). This is a 2000 Ford F550/Custom Fiberglass 250 gpm, 250 gallon water brush truck..  Since then, Lower Heidelberg merged to form Western Berks in 2003.  .  Western Berks eventually sold this unit to nearby Robesonia in 2011 after consolidating apparatus
