VOLUME 4 – ISSUE 3
The third issue was published in the Summer of 2002. It was back to 28 pages. The front cover featured a very unique aerial from the Covington Independent Fire Company (Lackawanna County). This 1972 Brockway cabover started its life as a pumper with a Ward LaFrance body. It had a 1000 gpm pump and 750 gallon tank. In 2001 they decided to remove the pumper body and place the 1958 American LaFrance body and aerial on this chassis to get a few more years life out of it. The 65′ aerial was originally mounted on a 1958 International and came from Montrose, PA.
